KUALA LUMPUR | 4 June 2026 – TNB Repair and Maintenance Sdn Bhd (TNB REMACO) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Malakoff Technical Solutions Sdn Bhd (MTSSB), a wholly owned subsidiary of Malakoff Corporation Berhad.The MoU exchange was held during the Energy Transition Conference 2026 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre by TNB REMACO’s Managing Director, Ts. Abidin Sarjo and Malakoff’s Senior Vice President of the Thermal Division, Mohd. Kopli Yunus.
Witnessing the exchange were Deputy Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA), Yang Berhormat Dato’ Sri Abdul Rahman Mohamad; Secretary General of PETRA, Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Sri Haji Mad Zaidi Mohd Karli; Malakoff Group Chief Executive Officer, Syahrunizam Samsudin; Malakoff Chief Financial Officer, Nazersham Mansor; TNB Senior Chief Network Officer, Ir. Mahathir Nor Ismail; and TNB Genco Managing Director, Dato’ Shahrir Abdul Latiff.The collaboration aims to explore opportunities in maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for power plants.
Under the MoU, both parties will work together to identify MRO opportunities across power plant fleets and strengthen workforce expertise through knowledge sharing and capability-building programmes.In addition, TNB REMACO and MTSSB will explore opportunities to extend their combined technical expertise and MRO capabilities to third-party power plant operators, creating new avenues for business growth and expanding the commercial reach of both organisations.
