Kuala Lumpur, May 2025 — TNB Repair and Maintenance Sdn. Bhd. (TNB REMACO), a wholly owned subsidiary of TNB Power Generation Sdn. Bhd. (TNB GENCO) has entered into a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Al-Dhow Engineering General Trading & Contracting Co. W.L.L. of Kuwait during the 46th ASEAN–GCC Summit 2025, held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). This strategic collaboration aims to support the development of power generation and water distillation projects across member countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), including Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The MoU signing was witnessed by His Highness the Crown Prince of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Honourable Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim. Their presence underscored the significance of this agreement, which strengthens bilateral relations and mutually commits Malaysia and Kuwait to sustainable energy collaboration.
