TNB REMACO received delegations from Gurun Power Generation, led by CEO Mr. Somasundram Ramasamy, Deputy CEO Mr. Zhi Shuang and COO Mr. Liew Seong Yan to our Repair Centre (RC), Klang on 11th October 2022 and Sultan Ibrahim Power Plant (SIPP), Pasir Gudang on 12th October 2022.
The visit showcased RC’s repair facilities and capabilities, including stationary and rotating parts refurbishment, bearing refurbishment, reverse engineering and metallurgical analysis. At SIPP, our team shared the experience in operating and maintaining the 1,440 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant. SIPP consists of two (2) units of GE Frame 9HA.02, which are the first GE Frame 9HA.02 units installed and commissioned worldwide.
